Happy New Year! It’s the last day of 2018, and this is the last post of our series featuring my photo exhibit honoring the women’s clubs in Dayton, Ohio. We have enjoyed sharing weekly posts with you and in the new year we will continue to do so. By reaching you and sharing local history with you, we hope to spark your interest and support for our work. Our number one goal is to provide knowledge and love of history to the children in our community. We’ve already put over 560,000 books into their hands! Won’t you help us continue our mission in the new year? In just a few months, we will publish our new book “Empowered Women of Dayton.” Check out our website to stay tuned and see how you can help!
Enjoy our weekly posts celebrating the extraordinary contributions of the Miami Valley’s historic women over the past century of Dayton's history. Articles will address the equal role of women as a cultural and political force and focus on vital issues of concern to women and the public.
We are gearing up for an amazing adventure of storytelling as we edge closer to the centennial anniversary of women’s suffrage in the United States.
